No, this is for  DISPLAYPORT - the name of the type of input is DISPLAYPORT and it is a better alternative to HDMI

If you want USB I will tell you what to look for, I will give info RIGHT after this, it is the same length, folds cheaper, and compatible with USB 3.0 devces, as well as 2.0 and 1.0 (backwards compatible)

I don't see why not. Display port is as good as HDMI minus the audio feed.

Does this cable have pin 20 connected?  If so I cannot use it. My PC graphics card will not work properly with cables that have pin 20 connection (voltage supply).

for anyone coming in late: it *shouldn't* if it's truly what it says it is. This model is certified by VESA, which in the world of passive DP cables means pin 20 shouldn't be connected. In addition, the technical specs listed with the manufacturer themselves indicate that only 19 pins are used for this model.

So if you are someone with concerns about the issue the market had a while back i guess with the improperly-handled 20th pin, as long as Newegg is correctly selling the actual model they claim to here, you should be fine in that regard.
