That's an excellent question. As I recall, it does. Unfortunately, it doesn't do several of the intermediate resolutions that are useful on monitors in the 26-28" range, and so right now my cable is no longer carrying a video signal, meaning I can't double-check that it will run 2560x1600. That IS the native display on my HP Envy, and the cable worked until I altered the resolution to eliminate mouse jitter (the CPUs problem, not the cable or monitor). But honestly, I'd say "caveat emptor", and figure it will only do 1920x1200, due to the DVI side of things. I'll amend if I get things back on-track.
