Would this connect a micro port on a digital camera to a mini port on a Samsung Tab3? It would be for transferring photos, so I may email them on my trip.

I tried using it to connect my Samsung galaxy s3 to a fiio headphone amplifier the s3 uses micro the fiio uses mini and for some reason it didn't recognized the device I'm guessing the same thing could happen for transferring files in your case I would suggest using either a mini to micro adapter or micro to mini adapter and use the corresponding cable. Will this cable connect my Android Nexus tablet to any new TV screen?

Probably not without another cable. The micro end will likely fit your tablet, but your TV won't have a male mini USB plug. Maybe if you use a male USB-A to male mini USB plug, but I've had terrible luck with any TV being able to access a portable.

I recommend that you look for a tablet-to-HDMI cable, with the tablet end being whatever kind of connector your Nexus has. Any TV will have multiple HDMI inputs.
