Does anyone else think it's amusing that they claim a rotational speed of 110,000 rpm?

Sounds pretty crazy to me too, but CNET and Reader's Digest have tested a lot of consumer-level electronics from well known companies like Dyson that claim these insane RPM numbers and I have never seen them proven inaccurate. The motor is brushless so it creates way less heat than you would think and the fan is tiny, like around an inch in diameter, so it can really move. I have the MF50 and on the high setting it sounds like a miniature jet engine. I think that the technology really has come far enough that the MF50 reaches 110,000 RPM on the high setting.

Is this safe to use inside PCs? I'm worried about static

I have used my MF50 inside of my PC case without any issues. I have never noticed static issue. I just keep the fan about 10 inches or a foot away when blowing off the components. I haven't done a deep clean and really gotten the fan in there, but it has worked pretty well.
