does any one know if this will work or capture with pinnacle studios software?

Well, I'm about to buy one of these things. All sales may be final, but if the thing just simply doesn't work the way it should, surely the "all sales final" policy doesn't apply if the thing is defective! Otherwise how do we know they aren't knowingly selling defective items just to get rid of them and collect the full price?

Is this card compatible with an MSI 970A-G46? I didn't find anything on their website.

I am running mine in a motherboard with the same chipset, different manufacturer. I see no reason why it wouldnt be compatible. I'm using a Gigabyte GA-970a-D3

Could I hook my Nintendo Switch to this and play in a window on my computer without any lag?

Nope. This will capture but with some lag.

Does this work with my motherboard, ASRock Z97 Anniversary LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard?

I do not have that motherboard. Perhaps an email directed to the manufacturer is on order. A more relevant question would be, "Does your editing and capture software work with this card".
