I have Windows 81 and it's compatible with that, so I'd imagine yes it would be with 10 as well. Sorry, That's the best answer I got for ya.

Does anyone know what version this comes as?  I'm hoping its the original 1.0 in all its pre-patch glory.  Thanks.

Purchased this in 2013.

Both LOD and Standard Installer.exe file has a modified date of 2008.

Version 1.12. For the Diablo II standard version.
LOD version1.12 as well.

I used a VMware system to install and verify this.

I'm assuming a new purchase would be similar.

is there a battle chest thsat also icludes the updated original diablo game???

I only have diablo 2.I know you can get Diablo 1 but I dont think they made a battlechest for it

Hi, I believe that it will work, given that you follow these instructions as well:

Google diablo 2 windows 8, and battle net has a link on ways to fix possible compatibility issues.
