Will this work with Google Home/Assistant?

Not reliably. It worked when I first set it up, but nowadays, my Google Home justs says it can't connect. It's really not that big a deal if you set up watering cycles on the app. I find there's never really a need for "hey Google, water the flowers".

Question 2

I already have a rain sensor installed -- can this controller make use of it, in addition to the Internet-based weather predictions, to optimize water application?

Not at this time.  Currently Blossom uses internet sources to estimate the rain that has fallen on your yard.  They "may" add support for rain sensors in the future.  This is from their support web site; "Blossom believes our Smart Watering system is the most e?ective and e?cient in the world for residential gardening. But, of course, we are perfectionists, and will continue to evolve our technology. For example, we may incorporate more information, such as sun exposure, site grading, and orientation. We may even incorporate local rain sensors, soil sensors, or your very own amateur weather station so you can have hyper-local weather data to use in the calculations. Each step takes us closer to the optimal irrigation for your garden!"

Question 3

How many times a day can this be set to run through the cycles?

How many programs can you have ?  (I have an A program for my lawn and a B programs for my drip system  that run independently on my current timer)
