Why there are black spots or rust after using the kettle?
The dark spots inside the kettle aren't rust. They're just mineral deposits from hard water (like calcium and magnesium). This is a normal process that happens with all stainless steel kettles over time and doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it
How to clean the spots & limescale?
Use 5~15% white vinegar, baking soda or lemon juice with water, boil it and let it stand for 30~60 minutes. Wash and wipe it with a clean rag, quick clean up of any residue or limescale.
Does the kettle can use for 220V Voltage?
Heads-up: This is designed for 110-120V (North American voltage). To use it elsewhere, you'll need a voltage converter as well as a plug adapter.
Why there is a small hole inside of the kettle? ( above the max fill line)
It's a crucial safety feature, in electric kettles, steam from boiling water escapes throught it to hit the thermostat, triggering the auto shut-off. It also lets air in as your pour, so water flows out smoothly instead of splashing.
