Has anyone purchased one of these recently? I was just curious to how it worked and if there were any cons with the product since there are no review yet?

Bought this back in February. This is a great scanner if you just need it for receipts and the occasional document. However, if you plan to do some heavy duty scanning (i.e. mult-page scanning) your better off getting a different one. This scanner only does 1 page at a time (including duplex) and you will need to manually feed the next page. Another con is that once you finish your scanning session (and close the software) and start up a new session if you did not rename your previous files it will overwrite them. So becareful to rename or move the previously scanned documents. Make sure to get software to combine multiple PDF pages if you plan to scan documents 2 pages or more.

Does this scanner allow you to scan multiple pages into one pdf document?

my experience with DS720D is using the scanner to copy one page TAX documents to my desktop. The Nuance Paper port software is much more controllable, and I have not had time yet to use that ! After April 15, I can tell you more. Paul
