What Brother Toner Cartridge does the 2840 use?

I've not had to change the toner cartridge yet but the manual lists these items: Standard Toner Cartridge - TN-420 (~ 1,200 pages) High Capacity Toner Cartridge - TN-450 (~ 2,600 pages) Drum Unit - DR-420 (~ 12,000 pages) Hopes this helps.

Can you make copies and scan on this model?

You can make copies but it is not really a copy machine nor is it set up to be a scanner. This is primarily a fax machine. If you want to scan you should consider either a MFP (Multi Function Printer) or a dedicated scanner. I recommend a dedicated scanner.

Does product include toner?

Yes it does it includes a low yeild cartridge that lasts quite a while

what type of toner applies?

"You have to use genuine Brother toner, otherwise the machine won't even recognize it. TN420 - Standard Yield Toner - approx. 1,200 pages, or TN450 - High Yield Toner - approx. 2,600 pages"

does this connect to computers by wifi?

Nope. USB cable for pc and telephone cable for fax.

Does the copier have a reduce/enlarge feature?

The FAX-2840, 2940, and MFC-7240 can make multiple copies and Reduce/Enlarge 25% to 400% (in increments of 1%)
