Does this printer print legal sized paper?

Question 2

One reviewer stated that you cannot use wifi capability when the printer is plugged into a PC. Is this true? Let’s say I connect it via a cable to my desktop. Will I be able to print wirelessly from my iphone, ipad or another PC without unplugging it from my desktop?

The Brother machine will only support one network connection at a time. You can't connect the machine using both a wired Ethernet and wireless (Wi-Fi) network connection simultaneously. When the wireless setting is enabled, the wired (Ethernet) setting is disabled. When the wired (Ethernet) setting is enabled, the wireless setting is disabled.

However, You can connect both a local (USB or Parallel, depending on your machine's supported interface) and network connection simultaneously.

Question 3

The Overview suggests this has duplex scanning, but is never explicit about it in the specifications.  Can it duplex scan?

Hello,
I looked throughout my instructions that came with printer but no info available regarding your question and no users manual on included disc.  I only scanned one single page so I can't help there.  The booklet states that you can look  online at the Online User's Guide, you go to the Brother site under support and lookup the manual.  I believe you will locate your answer there.  Hope this helps.
