Why does my fingerprint fridge lock often fail to recognize my fingerprint or take many tries to unlock?
Usually finger placement, not sensor failure. Enroll 2 fingers, add different angles each—flat, 45°, side. press 10 times per finger. Unlock: press straight down with full fingerpad, hold 1–2 sec. Keep hands dry; clean sensor. Wet or light taps fail.
How long does battery last, and what if it dies?
3-4 months per charge (5 unlocks/day), 6 months standby. Low-battery flashes red to warn you. Charges via any USB port or power bank — adapter not included. You'll never be caught off guard.
Is this lock waterproof? Can I use it outdoors?
Indoor use only — NOT waterproof. Built lightweight for gym lockers, school lockers, luggage, backpacks & dorm cabinets. Not for rain or pools. Measure your latch opening first: cable end is 0.2 inches — fits standard 9/32" locker hasps.
