Extension of Power and Data - Up to 250 meters (820 feet)
Extend mode increases the maximum transmission distance from 100 meters to 250 meters on all four PoE ports. Choose between 'Default' and 'Extend' mode based on your specific needs.
- Default Mode: Up to 100 meters transmission distance at 10/100Mbps data speed.
- Extend Mode: Up to 250 meters transmission distance at 10Mbps data speed.
4 PoE Ports - Max Total PoE Power of 60W
Port 1: up to 60W / Port 2-4: up to 30W each
Note: Total power of all 4 ports cannot exceed 60W.
Assign a total of 60W PoE power across all ports based on the device connected. If connecting four cameras requiring 15W each, 60W power will be split equally to four ports. If a device requiring 40W power is plugged at port 1, there will be 20W left for the rest of the ports, and so forth.
High Power PoE Port on Port 1 - Up to 60W on a Single Port
The POE-SW502 features a special design with Hi-PoE on port 1, allowing up to 60W of PoE power on a single port - ideal for high power devices such like IP PTZ cameras.
Note: Total power of all 4 ports cannot exceed 60W.
2 Uplink Ports
Unlike most PoE switches with only 1 uplink port, POE-SW502 has an extra uplink port, making network setups easier and more convenient. With one uplink port connected to the router, the other uplink can be connected to another PoE switch (to daisy-chain connections), a NVR, or any non-PoE equipment (ex. a laptop), allowing you to save a port on your main router / switch.
