Someone solved the previous issue of the external enclosure disconnecting constantly by opening nusb3utl.exe. Tried to find this exe file but none came up. Looked through the system32 directory and still nothing. Currently using windows7. Any ideas where the exe file is located? or another method of the unit disconnecting? I am also having trouble with the unit connecting to the motherboard 3.0usb ports on the rear IO, doesnt recognize it. No usb driver updates for MSI 870A-G54 available.

I saw the same advice: "To fix this issue your have to open a file
called nusb3utl.exe and disable USB 3.0 power managment functions"  but also was unable to locate nusb3utl.exe.

The best advice I did find, however, said to connect a USB 3.0 Hub to the USB 3.0 port on the computer, then connect the BYTECC ME360-SU3 enclosure to the Hub.  That worked, the external USB hard drive hasn't disconnected since I added the USB 3.0 Hub.

The Hub I purchased was the Patriot USB 3.0 unpowered 4 port Hub, Model: PCUSB34.  Works fine with powered USB 3.0 drive enclosures.
