I have two TV's that I would like to sent a signal from my Computer. Is that possible with this device?

Lets say you have a Computer hdmi and a DVD hdmi. you can hook them up to this but only select one at a time to watch.
This is not for a computer. In order to get more than one screen to watch on a monitor or TV you will need to start with a Video card for your computer that will allow you more than one video output. Ask Newegg as to what they might recommend for a video card that will work on your computer.

Question 2

One of the two inputs on my tv blew out and I need one for fios box and one for an Apple TV. Will this work ?

Yes. If the input on the Apple TV is the standard HDMI port it should work. HDMI is a standard and all your doing is adding another way of inputting 2 HDMI devices into your one port. No power needed for this device, it's powered internally by the HDMI power.

Question 3

The description says "The power required for operation of this switch is provided from the HDMI source devices" but I also see a 5V DC jack on the front of the device. Am I correct in assuming the power is not required to be takem from the HDMI input device and can optionally be provided by a wall adapter if desired? I have an issue with my current HDMI switch where the HDMI input from a PS4 is not enough to power the switch by itself and I have to have the other HDMI device turned on for the switch to work. Hoping this will fix the issue by being able to give it its own power source if necessary.

The power input is there if your devices are not providing enough from the hdmi to switch it. Just add an appropriate power supply. I have an Xbox 360 and an Xbox one on my switch and it works flawlessly without the additional power.

Question 4

I would like to use your HDMI auto switch to have 2 printers plugged into it. My question then is when I am finished using one printer and ready to use the other printer, will it automatically switch or do I have to hit a button to let my computer know that I am switching to the other computer?

You will have to manually switch. The unit will automatically start on HDMI port 1 after a power loss from your setup. SO, if you want a printer to be your main printer, put that one on HDMI 1. I'm not using mine for printing. I'm using mine between a TV input from satellite receiver and a ROKU input to the TV.  I've not used this for printing.

Does it work well with PCs?

This Unit is a switching device that will allow more than one HDMI hook up to a monitor or TV.  So you have more than one source in the unit will automatically connect to the one that is powered on and pass it to the HDMI TV or Monitor.  The 9 volt just helps boost the display signal.  Or if more than one unit is on you can use the select button to change to the one you want to watch. Unit works Great for switching more than one input.  Hope this helps.

Question 6

I have a projector plugged into the output and computer plugged into input. I have interference on screen when I have this device plugged in.  Would it make a difference if I purchased a power adapter?

Not sure it will help. Sometimes you might get line drop if you have long cables. The 5 volt will help boost the signal somewhat. You could try taking the switch out of line and going direct to see if you have loss from the switch. Also will help you decide where your interference is coming from. Also thin cables can add RF to the system on long runs. Could also try  getting better shielded cables.

Question 7

I'm looking to use this with a projector in an auditorium.  I need to plug an Apple TV 4k into it and an HDMI cable for direct hardwire connection to the projector.  In the event that both inputs are live, does it always default to input port 1, or does it default to the last port that was live?  I'm trying to avoid a situation where a user turns on the Apple TV first, and then decides later to hardwire in directly only to find them stuck on the Apple TV until a button is pressed manually.

I just tested mine to see what would happen. I have an Xbox 360 on input one and a PC on input two. No matter what I did, if I powered on either unit, and then the other, it always switched to the new input source. So if input one was active and two powered on, it switched to input two. If two was active and I powered input one, it switched to one.

Question 8

So I am setting up my tv. I have one HDMI port. If I have a cable always on (HDMI), and then turn on a dvd player with the cable still on. Will it select the dvd player automatically. Or must the cable be turned off first?
