Is there a power cord with this?

There is a cord with a usb connection on one end and connection to the scanner on the other, and that is included.  The power comes to the scanner through the usb connection (the usb goes into the computer and that is the power source).

Do it scan multiple pages?

Pages are hand placed on the platen one at a time. However, multiple pages can be combined in a single document, which is scanned and saved as a PDF file.

Does this scanner include the ability to turn negatives to photos and if so, does it have q holder to use for converting 2.25 sq. inch negatives?

I don't think it has the ability to do that & it definitely does not come with any type of holder.

I haven't had any issues using this in Windows 10. I haven't used the Canon Software though. Just Adobe Acrobat.

Does this come with software, since I have a canoscan lide 50 but cannot find the software for windows 10?

Yes, it does and is compatible with Win 10.  The Canoscan lide 50 also has Win 10 drivers that can be found on Canon's website.

The scanner should work with either USB version.  Only devices that are designed to work with USB 3.0 really see any benefit using a USB 3.0 port vs. a USB 2.0 port.  My experience is that devices designed for USB 3.0 do benefit from using them with a USB 3.0 port.  For me it has been noticeable.

I am running Win10 and I have not had a problem at all with the scanner or its software.

How long does it take to scan an 8.5x12 color picture?

I scanned a letter-size 8.5x11 picture using the "Photo" button in Canon IJ Scan Utility2 software that comes with the scanner. This produces a standard JPG file. It took 35 seconds.

With the software set for JPG High Quality it also took 35 seconds.

Yes.  It works well with Windows 10.  Just go to the Canon site for this product and download the latest drivers.

The scanner only supports a maximum size of 8 1/2 X 12 inches
