The Canon® imageFORMULA DR-F120 scanner is an ADF and flatbed imager that delivers high-end 2400 resolution of just about any media format. It can scan in duplex mode and in black and white, color and gray scale. The scanner also offers a variety of advanced imaging-enhancement technologies and can convert scanned documents into editable PDF and PowerPoint documents.

Media Types

As a document scanner, the Canon DR-F120 offers both auto document feed and flatbed functionality. Its ADF handles up to 50 sheets at time, including mixed-batch media in different sizes and widths, thanks to the device's integrated separation roller. The flatbed scanner can handle books and magazines, as well as business cards and passports. It also accepts documents up to legal size.

Canon Sheet-Feed Scanner Is Fast

With its ADF function, the device scans up to 20 ppm or 36 ipm in black and white and gray scale. In color, it churns out 10 ppm and 18 ipm.

Sophisticated Imaging

The Canon flatbed scanner has several imaging technologies. With mixed-batch scanning, it detects color media automatically and offers auto-resolution adjustments for text and photos. With both the ADF and flatbed, the scanner automatically deskews documents to align them correctly. Other enhancements include shadow cropping, text orientation recognition and background smoothing.

User-Friendly Scanner

The job operation buttons on the Canon color scanner are a straightforward panel with start and stop, copying, file destination and email functions. You can even assign individual buttons to three frequently used scanning tasks to expedite the process.
