Is this printer compatible with Acer computers and Windows 7?

It should work just fine, with one caveat: If you plan to connect the computer directly to the printer, there is no USB cable included. That's a common omission, but if you aren't aware, you'll be stuck with a printer you can't hook up until you find one.

Can I use this with windows 10?

I do not know exactly but I have understood that Win 10 is supposed to run your existing hardware. You can easily run it by Canon from their website. Good luck.

If it's compatible with Windows 8 does that include Windows 8.1?

My best guess would be yes, as a 0.1 windows upgrade is such a small change, usually bug fixes. It is not a whole new OS, so get the printer, it is amazing how it prints off your iphone or ipad. I still have to figure out how to get it to print at home via the web, something to do with coordinates, etc. great and nice looking printer.

Hi. I currently have a HP All-In-One printer, and my Windows 7 recognizes it and installs all needed drivers automatically connecting to Microsoft Windows Update services. All of the features of my All-In-One work perfect (Scanner/Printer/Copy). The part that I don't need to find the driver disk from the printer each reinstall of my OS, makes it very nice and simple whenever I need to reinstall my operating system.

Question: Would this need me to install something using the factory CD, or would it be able to install drivers using Windows Update utility, same as with my old HP printer? Thank you.

I used the disc that came with it, have Win 7 64 pro. You get some added software that looks useful and it works flawlessly. Just still have to figure out how to set up Airprint, which I think lets me print to that printer no matter where I am. it's a great little printer for mobile devices and avoids needing a printer server. I actually bought 3 of them. good luck. Charles

Does this printer enlarge and reduce copies?

I don't know if the scanner does but if you import the image into a word processor like MS word you can manipulate the original larger or smaller. Hope this helps.
