Does the printer come with ink?

More ink than competitors for an original shot-- but not as much as you need if you have daily heavy use.  While their ink is expensive -- their policy on using 3rd party inks is the best and you do not have to worry about chips going out of date.

What is the power requirement?  Can I use this internationally with 230VAC 50Hz?

I'm on vacation, so I can't look at the printer to see if that info is present.  I did a quick check of the Canon's ad on their website last night, but didn't find any answers there.  I would suggesting contacting Canon directly, using the chat feature on their website, or calling Canon Tech Support.  Hope this is helpful.

Does this printer operate in the WIFI Direct mode?

I'm not sure what you mean by "WIFI Direct mode;" however, here's what I did to connect to my home WiFi network: When the printer arrived, I unpacked it and plugged it in, following the instructions on the Getting Started fold-out sheet.  Then I loaded the printer software on my MacBook Pro, using the CD that came with the printer.  For Macs only, you have to download some additional software from a URL specified in the Getting Started sheet.  Once that was done, I just followed the on-screen instructions to get the printer talking to my wireless router.  That took a 2nd attempt because I didn't read the instructions carefully the first time.  It's been performing flawlessly since then in different locations around my home.

can this printer use card stock?

No.  The maximum paper weight is specified as 28 lb (105 g/m^2).  Card stock is generally in the range of  50 lb to 110 lb (about 135 to 300 g/m^2).  There is no flat paper pathway to the print heads so the media must be able to easily bend.
