In the box contents, it says Setup Ink Tanks... I honestly don't remember, but this printer has outlasted several others and we are happy with it.

Does this printer work with Windows 10?

Canon official driver stops at win8.1 I csn guess if it works in 8.1 it SHOULD work under 10. I cannot confirm as I got this for Mac os x user

can I use it with a laptop?

I use it with my laptop all the time. Do you have wifi on your laptop? My printer is set up upstairs and I use my laptop downstairs

how easy is it to print from iphones & ipads?

It's very easy. Once the printer is on your wifi network, (set up through the printer itself), you just find the in the print function of your app and print.

Can this printer print cd/dvd printable discs??

Hi Danny, I'm not 100% sure but I know there is not a CD/DVD tray on the printer itself. If you had a CD/DVD with pictures on it, you could either open these on a computer and print from there, or copy the files to a USB thumb drive, connect the thumb drive directly to printer to print. Looking at the spec sheet for this model it shows the following: Direct Printing from Media Slots: -Memory Stick Duo -Memory Stick Pro Duo -Secure Digital -MultiMedia Card -MiniSD Card -Secure Digital High Capacity If you had an external USB CD/DVD drive I'm thinking that would work as well to print from, I'm thinking you would not be able to write (burn) to CD/DVD though. I haven't really used the printer that much. My fiance uses it all the time, but mostly for printing documents. (has not really printed many pics or used the scanning function. Hopefully this helps.
