Canon revolutionizes the way your business scans documents with the ScanFront 220P. Instead of a few buttons and a small LCD display it has an 8.5" color touch screen and ports for a keyboard and mouse. Users can be set up with their own accounts so that they can customize their jobs and address books. In addition to the standard username and password log in there is also a fingerprint scanner that will automatically take the user to their own folder.

Users can scan to FTP or a shared folder on the network. They can also insert a thumb drive inserted into the scanner. Canon's advanced imaging technology ensures that no matter where the documents are going they will be clear and easy to read. You can save your scans to encrypted PDFs to protect data from prying eyes.

This network scanner is designed with security in mind. Besides the user log in administrators can set the scanner to log all activity so they can monitor who is sending things out and where they are going. The future of scanning is here and it is from Canon.
