Does the Deluxe Kit require the base game to use, and are its appearance items cosmetic only?

Yes. The base game Onimusha: Way of the Sword is required to use this content. The sword appearances, outfit, and gauntlet are cosmetic items that change Miyamoto Musashi’s appearance and do not alter his performance in battle. Charms, however, strengthen his abilities.
