why is there a 3.5mm to usb converter included? do you have to charge these headphones?

The USB converter is a DAC (digital audio converter) than can be used to give you 7.1 surround sound. You can also use the standard 3.5mm plug in your computer, or any other device (e.g. tablet, phone, etc), so it gives you both options. They do not require charging.

Does this headset work with ps4 and windows 10 pro???

Plug the headset into your PS4 controller and you're good to go. As for Windows 10, yes as well, also works with Windows. It's a USB or the pin. Just plug and play.

Is the mic detectable?

Mic stops working randomly on windows 10 systems.

Is this device compatible with a headset mic and audio splitter?

yes, yes it is. alternatively you can use the USB adapter that comes with it

How are these for those who wear glasses? Over the years, every headset I have tried (from cheap to expensive), I always end up with a head ache after a couple of hrs, because they press my glasses against my temples and behind my ears. Thanks in advance.

I suffer from migraines and while I don't wear the headset all day, I do wear it with glasses. I haven't found it to exacerbate my headaches nor press on my glasses unless I am laying on my side.
