Hey Jim,

The device is about 3.5 pounds. So, it's not the lightest laptop out there, but by no means is it heavy. I keep it and a Venue 8 pro in my satchel, and they together don't weigh as much as my Lenovo work laptop. It's definitely recommended.

Question 2

DOes this laptop have the TPM 1.2 (Trusted Platform Module)?

I don't believe so, as this model only comes with Win8.  According to the Dell spec sheet that option is only available for Win8 Pro.  Newegg won't let me link to it, but a Google search for "dell xps 12 tpm" (no quotes when you search) brings the sheet up as the top result from the Dell Partner Direct site.

I know that Dell has business class versions of this laptop.  Those are likely the ones that have TPM.

Question 3

The product video indicates that this is a 3rd generation Intel Processor but I am wondering if this is an old video and if the 4200U processor is a Haswell 4th Generation Intel chip? Also what is battery life on this product?

It's a 4th generation Haswell.  Quick tip, the generation of the processor is indicated by the first number in the processor model for the i series chips (ex. i5-4200U == 4th generation i5).
