Treat your ears to the ultimate audio experience for digital music, DVDs and gaming by upgrading your desktop with the AV-710 sound card from Chaintech. Analog audio outputs for up to 7.1-channel sound systems are built into the board with support for 20-bit resolution at 48KHz (perfect for standard CD and DVD audio). There's a single optical 7.1-channel digital S/PDIF output for pass-through of Dolby Digital EX and DTS ES DVD soundtracks with 24-bit resolution at 192KHz sampling rates.
There's a line-in jack for recording from music equipment, CD players and digital audio players directly to your PC. An external mic input lets you connect a microphone for recording sound or for video conferencing, gaming or Internet phone calls or chat. Dual on-board stereo inputs allow you to connect two CD drives, too.
Installation is simple and straightforward. Just seat the card in a vacant PCI card slot in your desktop and install the drivers from the included disk and you’re ready to connect your speakers and enjoy high-quality audio.

Pros: Not much to add that other happy users haven't already said. This card offers excellent sound for the money. Installation couldn't have been any easier in my MSI S754 K8MM-V board. It was simply point, click, restart and play.
Cons: None that I've found for what I use it for. It's not a true gamer card so you should look elsewhere if you want the best detail from your games. I would have like d more options with the software, but for the sound it delivers that's a small con.
Overall Review: I got this for my "work in process" HTPC and the sound is quite clean compared to OB sound. For what it's worth, I didn't use the CD it came with. I DL'd the latest driver pack from Chinatech.
