Is this router also artifically limited to subnets no larger than 24 bits?  (255 devices).  I use a 22 bit subnet.

Question 3

Hello All.  Does anyone know if the web security and app visibility features of this router are licensed features, or are they included license-free with the device?  According to the product data sheet, the features require a license.  I was on a chat with a Cisco rep, however, and she told me that these features are included with the device.  Can anyone confirm which is correct?  Thank you.

What your Cisco rep told you is not true.  I bought two of these and was under the same assumption as it's not clear whether a license is needed or not.  After a 70 day initial free license period our web filter stopped cold.  We got no notification from the router, etc.  After contacting two Cisco support teams neither one could help us.  From a search it looks like you have to purchase the web filter license separately.  From what I can tell the license part number is ls-rv34x-sec-1yr.  I am not 100% sure on that, since Cisco License Support team did not know what it was.  I do not see where you can purchase this on Newegg.  CDW has it for like $90, Provantage for $73.  You should double check this info, but that's what I've found so far.  We are still trying to find a source, buy it and get it in place to get our web filtering working again.   *** It is not free, it does NOT come with the router ***
