Is this a refurbish equipment or new?

The ones we purchased are brand new in the box. They do not come with the ac power adapter. You will need to order them separately.

Question 2

I am confused, does this model have intercom between phone?

Another way to word "Intercom" might be "Interoffice call on speaker phone". So since you can call internal extensions in that way then I would say yes, absolutely.

If you mean can you make company wide announcements like a loud speaker on all phones without interaction from the end users then I would suggest looking in the user manual or contacting to determine if it or another phone has that functionality.

we just got charter business phone and internet 
will this phone work with out system ?

It likely will but a lot depends on other  things. I suggest you bing or google 'voip requirements checklist' to see a range of things you need to consider to implement VOIP service. A lot of the cost will depend on whether you have any in house capability or will depend entirely on Charter to implement the service. Quality of network, POE, battery backup, handling of non-VOIP devices (FAXEs, elevators, fire alarms), number of VOIP devices are some of the considerations. Of course at some point there will be lots of discussion with Charter.

Will this phone work with either cable or fiber?  Is one preferred over the other for best use?

Accepted Answer

These phones use Ethernet so they can work with any TCP/IP router.  Does not matter if you use Cable model or a Fiber system.  The end result is it must terminate at a router or switch that DOES do the Ethernet.  Does not matter for cable/fiber what matters is the SPEED of your internet connection.  You need 90KBit minimum per phone for SIP telephony.  I'd say size it at 128KBit to be sure.  most HIGH speed internet can handle a few SIP phones.  Even DSL can handle this!

Is there a cordless phone available that would be compatible with a system composed of three of these phones?
