Nice machine, poor documentation, no response from Cobratype4/28/2022 7:36:07 PM
Pros: I don't want my desktop flashing lights all the time, there's an LED button that cycles through display modes, including dark. It's easy to take the sides off the case, the cabling is tidy. This machine is a solid upgrade, the Graphics are detailed and high FPS.
Cons: The USB 2 port on the top of the case is DOA. Lots of other ports, and they all work. There is a quick setup guide, but no manuals (except for the case). There is a flash drive, but no README.TXT, only an executable -- I have no idea what that's for, I suspect system recovery or diagnostics. I sent email a week ago to customer service, no response. I can't turn off the RGB for the RAM stick. The Keyboard is interesting, but the lighting on it is harder to adjust/turn off. The documentation is for a previous edition of the keyboard and the lighting instructions are incorrect, and there's no indicator to tell you whether the keyboard is "locked" or not, so you have to try everything, and then if it doesn't work, toggle the lock, and then try everything again. I'll probably switch out my old keyboard for the one that came with this machine.
Overall Review: I'm not upset with my purchase. I didn't want to buy parts and assemble the machine myself, and this one is easy enough to tinker with (I added more storage). If you must have manuals you might want to find a different manufacturer than Cobratype.
