Question 1

What is the actual size of the hub?

Accepted Answer

It is about the size of the palm of your hand.

Works well, & takes up very little space on your desk.

I have 4 of them.

Question 2

From reading the specifications this device is not compatible with Mac OS, just Windows? Is that correct?

Accepted Answer

USB 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 are not OS specific. If your computer has the hardware and software to support any of the USB standards, then this hub will work.

This would mean naturally, that USB 1.0 will work with USB 1.0 hubs, USB 2.0 will work with USB 2.0 hubs and may be backward compatible with USB 1.0 (not all USB devices are backwards compatible) and USB 3.0 will work with all USB hubs and depending on the manufacturer, are backwards compatible.

So check your computer documentation to see which version of USB it supports. If it supports USB 3.0, then this hub will work. The hub also comes with an AC adapter for those USB devices that require more power to operate.

Hope this helps.
