OVERVIEW

The Continental ProContact RX (VW) is a touring, all season tire model manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model has some W speed rated high performance sizes as well. This is the original equipment tire of select Volkswagen vehicles.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread pattern and the silica-based tire compound are the reason for its exceptional traction. The tread pattern's circumferential grooves actively avoid hydroplaning by eliminating water from beneath the tire footprint. The better year round traction improve the tire's safety in all conditions.

The tread pattern provides additional biting edges in all weather situations that create friction at the moment of braking. This shortens the model's braking distance.
