pretty much the same, only notable difference is the mounting as noted by everyone else. and the bit of passive cooling machining on top of the cpu block end. they made it a bit more functional for cooling since they had the space with the new mounting hardware. probably not a huge difference as far as temps go, but it looks cool

Yes, it comes with two brackets. The issue to keep in mind is whether the fan will clear the top of your RAM when installed. For me having 32GB Gskill Trident Z RGB, I can only run one fan. Low profile RAM would definitely come in handy if you have it.

Does this include thermal paste?

There is pre applied thermal paste. I replaced it with fresh, but should get the job done. A tube of thermal paste is cheap id recommend getting some in case the pre applied is smudged or other issues. Better to reapply then risk damaging your cpu honestly.

If you have a good airflow in your case and don't plan on a high overclock, more than likely, but you may want to step up if you want to hold 5ghz

Unless you have some really oddball motherboard layout, it shouldnt. It comes straight off of the CPU. Unless your ram is laying on top of the CPU somehow, I cant see it being an issue.

If I bought this cooler, where can I get a second fan? From what I can see, it doesn't list what model fan comes included. Or, is there any place I can search what fans are compatible with this cooler?

If you want an exact match to the included fan, you need a Cooler Master Silencio 120mm PWM fan. Otherwise, any 120mm PWM fan will work, as long as the mounting holes are not enclosed, so the wire frame can grab the close hole on the mount (look at the pictures of the unit to see what I mean).

No, it does not. It has to be purchased from Cool Master separately. Search for "cooler master lga 1700 bracket" either here on Newegg or on Google and you should be able to find it.
