Can I adjust the color on this fan or is it only capable of rainbow? If so, can I get white out of it?

With the Aura Sync you can make the fan show any color you want it to. As far as white goes, it can do that when you reduce the saturation of a color but because it is using RGB LEDs you don't get a pure white. It kind of ends up a little gray slightly.

what header do you need to make these fans work?

Standard 4 pin 12V RGB header.  Note this is not Addressable RGB, but it does cycle through all colors supported by your motherboard or rgb controller software.

Does this fan come with mounting hardware?

Yes,  it comes with mounting screws, but not the rubber inserts. Also it does not come with the rgb controller so please be prepared to purchase one if your motherboard does not support it.

Will this mount fit infront of Core v1 case?

I've put it in a Core V1 and the Core V21 for computers built by my students at school.  It was a couple of years ago, and the Level 20 VT more recently.

Can you put this fan on the front, side or top of the HAF X case?

I put one in all 4 spots. The front and the side go in fine. The top you'll have to make some adjustments. There are some inconsiquential plastic pieces that I took some pliers to and ripped out. Looks great and works great.

is this compatiable with corsair RGB controllers?

I am not familiar with that unit.  I have mine plugged directly into an RGB connector on my motherboard.

Why does this fan not a fit the top of my 200mm Cooler Master HAF XB EVO case?

I have a separate 200mm Cooler Master fan i am replacing it with and the holes do not match.

The hole pattern is different, but it took me like three mins to mod this fan to install it.  I just took the Cooler Master 200mm LED fan that i had and laid it on top of this fan, one set of the mounting holes will line up between the two fans, the other set won't, unfortunately the set that doesn't match between these two fans is the set the case uses.  I just took a 1/16" drill bit and used the old fan as a guide and drilled the MF200R then removed the old fan and used a 11/64" drill bit for each of the pilot holes, go slow and it will cleanly cut the rubber pad and drill the fan plastic.  11/64" is the closest bit size i had to the holes in the old fan so thats what i used.  Then i just put it on the top cover and re-used the large flat head screws and rubber grommets that came with the case to install the MF200R and plugged it in.  Literally a five minute job and it looks great!
