I know this is an 80mm fan, but, what is the size of the average case cooling fan? Like the ones that come in customize to order machines from HP and the like...

80mm is very common size but so is the 120mm fan. You have to open the case and measure the existing fan to be replaced or the location where a supplementary fan can be installed. Additionally you need to examine the motherboard for fan power headers and determine if you need a 3-pin or 4-pin fan power connector. This item is a 4-pin fan which allows the MB Bios to control the fan speed depending upon the temperature of the case interior. A three pin fan can be connected to a 4-pin header but the fan will run at full speed and highest noise level.

Will this work in push pull with a Hyper TX3?

Probably not considering this is an 80mm fan and the tx3 uses a 92mm fan. I'm sure that you could make it work if you really wanted to with some zip ties though.

How long are the power wires? I need to reach from the back of my case to the front of my EATX motherboard (about 13")
