COOLER MASTER R4-L8S-182B-GP 80mm 4 BLUE LED LED Blue LED Standard Fan 80 ST3

Pros: This is the low RPM fan for quiet cooling--especially good where the fan will "suck on a grille" like the Intake fan at the front of the PC. Excellent for the HTPC and other really quiet computers. Also great for adding a bit of style.

Cons: Not for CPU cooling. Not for use with a fan controller or motherboard "auto fan" function (because these are already at the silent rate of speed).

Overall Review: An excellent product. There is no flashing--that's clear blades plus lights making pretty blue reflections. Why are you guys staring at the insides of your PCs anyway? Can cool an energy star compliant CPU that's equipped with "the big chunky" heatsink. Otherwise, the same manufacturer makes a "rifle" bearing CPU fan (only in plain black) better for that job. However, these blue fans can be applied within a hard drive bay, overtop of the video card, and they can be used on a nice blue "60-80 funnel" to replace noisy 60mm fans in HTPCs. Low power consumption goes well with "green power" builds (like Fortron Source Green and Seasonic based projects). Very useful in Micro ATX and ITX builds where the computer is smaller and more personal (and very quiet). They do not require a fan controller, and that is more cost-effective--a fantastic timesaver!

Pros: The fans that originally came with my computer case made so much noise i had to buy a fan controller to lower the RPM to more bearable levels. These fans however are so quiet i don't have to use fan controller.

Cons: They are quiet for a reason, their RPM is somewhat low. But i have 4 of these fans in my computer case and they are doing really good job.

Overall Review: I highly recommend them for everyone that want quite fans, but if you have big heat problems you might want to take a look at more powerful fans.

Pros: The fans are a very good combination together. The blue lights light up my window very well. I was surprised how much air these fans move for how quiet they are. Completely silent at about 80% and just barely audible at 100%.

Cons: I wish they moved just a bit more air, but they do the job just fine.

Pros: These are a good deal, I'm thinking. Newegg, you're the best! You help me with my hobby, and that keeps me out of the Gin Mill.

Cons: The only con I know lives down the street. (Ex-con.)

Pros: I used both fans (two per box) as air intake fans on both of my systems. They are working better than I expected and really helped cool down inside case temps by at least 5C on both systems.

Overall Review: Ordered on Wednesday and NEWEGG delivered (via UPS) by Friday afternoon! Too easy!

Pros: Cooler Master name, very quiet, moves a nice amount of air for it's specs.

Cons: Although, they don't work. Right out of the box niether of them worked. I tried them on two rigs. Went to Cooler Master's website, they had horrible service there. When I bought them, newegg had a $5 mail in rebate deal, that I never recieved.

Overall Review: The rest of these reviews seem to suggest it's a good fan. Maybe I just got an unlucky pair. I could send them back but $5.00 is not even worth the hastle.
