The Cooler Master Hyper TX series cooler is quieter than previous versions, but it also uses fewer heat pipes, allowing for greater heat dissipation in a smaller space and less weight stress on your motherboard.
Designed for use with AMD Socket (754/ 939 /940/AM2) processors, the Hyper TX has a copper base and aluminum fin heat sink with three embedded copper pipes. The combination of materials provides excellent heat transfer without being overly top heavy. The longer length pipes carry heat further away from the CPU and the dense array of fins provides better spreading of the heat.
A special fan duct directs airflow away from the processor as well as helping to cool down surrounding components simultaneously. The 90mm silent fan with special fan blades and frame design has the cooling power of a larger fan but saves space and creates just 16dBA of additional system noise when spinning in silent mode.
