Im building a decent gaming computer.So far i have a i7 470 processor,Evga 4gb ddr5 gtx 760 i will be running duals eventually,liquid cooling,8gb or 16 gb's of ram and windows 8.1....On a asaus maximus vi hero edition board.Now my question is would this be the power supply i would need or not?....im slightly confused.

This should handle it without a problem. I just built an AMD 8 Core machine with 16GB RAM, Windows 8.1, and dual gtx 600 and have absolutely no issues with it. This power supply has plenty of power to handle what you are looking to use it for.

I need 4 - 6 pin connectors. does this psu have 4?            (COOLMAX ZU Series ZU-1000B 1000W ATX12V )

I Have A HP Compag 8200 Elite Convertible Minitower And the ZU-1000B Power Supply and I do not see the right Contector to plug into the Mother Board. Can you help me?? There is a slim White plug that pluf\gs into the Mother Board That the Power Supply dose not have. Help.

Hi. Let me say, I was a PC tech for over 10 years, so not just some schmuck hobbyist. Okay, so I looked up that PC to find pictures of that MB, and found what appears to be the right one. If the connector you're talking about is the white one that appears to be one row of 6-8 pins, are you sure the wires that were plugged into it coming from the power supply? If so, that isn't a PS connector that you will find on any standard AT, ATX, etc... PS. I also see 1-6pin white, 1-4pin white, and 2-4pin black PS connectors. This tells me that this PC uses a proprietary PS. This is often the case with brand name, off-the-shelf computers like hp, compaq, and some dell systems. This power supply will not work for you. I'm sure you can google it and come up with something that will. Hope this answers your question. If not, message me back.

Does this have the power and the right cables to power a GIGABYTE GTX 760?

Yes it will handle two 760's in SLI and overclock at the same time. This PSU has two 8 pin power supplies to the CPU ( 4+4, 4+4). You'll be good till your ready to tri triple SLI with 760's then you'll need a 1000W. Has enough cables to supply two cards with two 8 pin plugs each. The first 8 pin plug is attached to the PSU the others are modular.

Yeah. This PSU is a rebrand of other high end power supplies. I have used this power supply in several client builds with great success powering many crossfire and SLI builds. I am confident that it will suit all your power needs up to dual GPUs + todays best CPUs. Eventually everyone will realize coolmax cpus are great and the price will go up. Much like seasonics price tag increased once people realized those were re-branded high end PSUs

Can I install a Radeon R9 295X2 with this power supply? I know it has enough power just wondering about if there certain specs I have to have for the GPU ? Ex: amps/prongs/pins
