No, it is the key to activate the full version of WinZip 18.5.  No trial ware.  (You will have to download the software.)  The program will eventually ask you to upgrade to the newest version, which is 19.5.

is  winzip 18.5 compatible with windows 8.1?

I have Windows 8.1 Pro. I run WinZip 18.5 no problem. But WinZip18.5 has limited functionality. I only use it to unzip files on local drive. Hope this helps.

I purchased the Winzip 18.5 Key Card & tried to go to the download URL specified on the card. It takes me to version 19. How do I download version 18.5? Version 19 doesn't accept the Key Card code I purchased.

You will have to contact win zip support and ask for a link to the previous version.  That is what I did when the link did not work.

Is this a download copy of box   Im not sure what Product key card means?

This software package is a download copy (no box) that you must register after the product is purchased.  You buy the program and Newegg will send you a new 'Product Key' card/number and a link to the WinZip's web/download site, where you enter the Product Key and register.  (I purchased this in Sept 14 and that was the process. Further, WinZip recently sent me an email allowing me to upgrade to WinZip 19 because of my recent purchase, which was unexpected.)

Is this version the 32bit or the 64bit version or does it ask you which you'd like during installation? Also need to know if it is mandatory to download winzip from newegg instead winzip's website.  I understand I need to download the 18.5 version though.  Thanks!

When you goto the link on the key code card, WinZip185.exe will want to download.

I believe the download contains/installs the version that corresponds to your OS.  WinZip installed to my C:\Program Files folder on my W7 64-bit computer.

WinZip downloads are also available as a 32-bit and 64bit versions.

How many computers can I use on ?? I have 4.

I believe that the software is a single user license. you would have to buy four copies, one for each computer.

How would I get the program if this is just a product key card. Do I go to corel and download?

I downloaded the program from WinZip 18.5 web site. When installed the WinZip 18.5 it prompted me for the product key. I used the key on the card to complete the install.
