Wait Jerry, I apologize.  The survey NewEgg sent me to answer question about was the ram I bought from them...corsair is not the ram they asked me to comment on so please disregard my previous posting about using this memory. I am sorry for the confusion.

Dual channel refers to the architecture of the memory controller and motherboard. If you have a memory controller that supports dual channel, you will need 2 memory modules to take advantage of it.
