Question 1

First time building a PC. It's my understanding that you need motherboard standoffs. The manual seems to say this only comes with one standoff. Shouldn't there be four? Or does the case not need them?

Motherboards will always require standoffs. This case comes with one already built into the case. The case will come with a box of screws and other various little pieces, one of those will be other standoffs. You will need to insert the standoffs that you require into the case in the appropriate locations that match the form factor of your motherboard (ATX, mATX, etc.), and hand-tighten them into place. Is there a disk drive already installed in this case?

No there is not already a disk drive in this case. Also, be careful as there is no place to put a disk drive in this case.

Question 3

Is the front panel glass tinted at all? Or is it basically clear?

its slightly tinted.  not to much.  the fans leds still can produce the color white instead of on the grey side if it were darker tint.

Question 4

Are the RGB fans that come with the case able to be controlled with the Corsair iCUE software or do they only work with the buttons on the front?

As far as I can tell you can only change them from the buttons.  they all plug into the hub which is then wired into the button panel.  It may be possible to wire them into a different hub and then connect that to the motherboard.  it all comes pre-wired so I left it and didn't bother messing with it.

Question 5

Can a SSD be mounted to the PSU shroud?

As it comes from the manufacturer: No. The SSD's have to go in the SSD cage on the back of the motherboard tray or into the HDD trays in the HDD cage in front of the PSU. You could probably drill holes in the shroud yourself if you wanted to and then buy longer screws to attach the SSD to the shroud.
