Will this case fit a Corsair H100i liquid cooler with a single set of fans and if so will it cause limitations such as bay usage, etc.?

I recently build a set-up with the H105 liquid cooler (same specs with H100i). I had to place the fans facing the top side of the case (air flow from outside to inside). With the existing fans my AMD FX 9590 runs around 38 degrees of Celsius (in balanced mode). The catch is that because of the size of the liquid cooler fan you will not be able to use the top DVD bay of the case.

Few tips: check your motherboard to see if you will have to install first the liquid cooling system and then the motherboard or the opposite. Especially if the 4+4 Pin ATX 12V plug will be located in the upper left corner of the case after installation. Definitely you will have to remove the rear fan of the case during installation. With the existing 3 fans plus the Corsair H105 liquid culling system my system runs perfectly! I do recommend buying this case if you do not have a problem losing one bay.

which power supply is best for this tower?

I think it really depends on the system you are building inside of it, but considering the price and quality of the case, it is something pretty nice, so i would recommend either the EVGA Supernova NEX 750 or maybe the CORSAIR CSM Series CS750M 750W if you want to spend more money and get a more efficient one.  Plus the cables are nicer.

Can I use an AMD Motherboard and If so which Board?

Yes, you can use AMD or Intel. I would recommend Intel if that's an option you were thinking about. Anyways, I recommend the Asus Sabretooth 990fx motherboard. That would be the cheapest I would go for a board. Don't buy a gigabyte board or any other brand. Asus boards make it really easy to over clock.

When you press the power button, what color does the two lights on either side of the button light up?

They are white. To be honest though, the power led stopped working after a couple of weeks. Otherwise this is a fantastic case.

Hi, is that a mesh on top? Is it solid or is it fabric or plastic, with holes? Is it helpful for airflow?

It's a plastic mesh, flexible. I feel that it does not block any airflow but also it does not filter much either as it's an exhaust port. This top mesh was the coolest of all the filters I thought when buying it, but it only prevents food crumbs from falling off my desk and into the machine really. Taking it off right now I do see a light film of dust where there is not holes. The front and bottom ones are the important ones, front seems to catch a lot of dust. The bottom has a hard time staying on if you're moving the case around a lot. As for the top mesh again, it is about 1cm too short to fill the space that was made for it but this will not matter in the functionality. I have the corsair H100 mounted here, with only two fans, and the airflow I feel is too wide open if you're trying to create a flow stream in your case as there is an opening for a third fan that is free for air to go in or out as it pleases. This is just opinion though for all I know it may not disrupt it. Thinking now that I can cover unused openings with some of that nice looking black tape to create better flow, or maybe worse flow I'm no expert.

All in all I really do like this case, maybe off topic but the only problems I've had with it is from moving it to my buddies house some days. I've lost a rubber pad on its foot that kept coming off, finally gone. Without the pad the case does not tilt, for some reason it's still as stable as if the feet were new (and I have it on hard wood floors too). The bottom filter likes to come off when you're carrying it so just put it on top before you move it. And the bottom front support between the two front feet bends under the weight of the tower if you put your hand there to carry it. Hasn't broken or made any permanent defects yet but in the coming years I should be careful.

Can't see the pictures of this case, so just need to know if this has a front reset button, or just the on/off power button? Thanks much.

Yes it has a front reset button. It is located on the left side of the panel, just to the right of the audio connection ports.

Do the front fans light up?

They do not however you can replace them with the appropriate fans of your choice that would light up.

I would suggest getting the rubber pull through tabs that hold the fans in place since that is what the current fans come with.

Question 8

I'm thinking of using this case with a H100i hydro cooling system on a M5A97 motherboard. I'd like everything to be in the case. Do you think everything will fit?

It SHOULD ... on corsair dot com + /en-us/blog/2015/april/corsair-hydro-series-cpu-cooler-decoder-ring-and-case-compatibility-chart ... says the Corsair Obsidian 450D can fit ALL Corsair 280mm cooler units, only issue MIGHT be on the MoBo the 8 pin Power connector, the CPU fan headers and the RAM Dimm slots all look to sit a little HIGH up on the board, so if you have TALL RAM it might be an issue ? However it SHOULD fit, as you can only really do a PUSH or PULL and not both a push/pull combo set-up ... so that should allow for clearance  of the AIO cooler unit.

Will this case accommodate a micro board?

Yes, but the Obsidian 250D might be a better case in the same series for a mITX board.  I've used it for mITX builds and it was great.

Question 10

Where is the power button located?  I don't see it in the pictures.

Top, center. There's a small horizontal black rectangle shaped power button. On both sides there are the white power/HDD activity lights LEDs. The button sits flush with the front surface of the case.  BTW, this is one of the BEST cases I've owned, especially if you're installing SDDs and not mechanical HDDs.  Hope this helps!
