This mouse looks nice, but is the wheel durable? My current mouse's wheel crapped out after a month a so.

Yes Jake the wheel is both durable and solid feeling. I have this mouse for about a month and a half and am happy with my purchase.

How easy is it to palm the mouse with medium size hands?

It's perfect for medium hands. Mine are medium and the pads on my fingers reach to about 1/2 " maybe 3/4" from the end of the L/R buttons with my finger tips right at the ends. Thumb curls in perfect with my ring finger hanging over for an easy grip on the out side of the mouse body so you can pick It up super easy. This mouse has given me zero trouble, I love it.

Are the LED's truely red? just making sure because in the picture it looks like it has red LED's but that doesn't necessarily mean what I'll recieve has red LED's

How long physically is the mouse from front to back? I want to compare to my current mouse to estimate the grip.

5.75" long by 3" wide and approx. 1.75" height.

I've had this unit awhile now and it's been flawless. Hardly any wear on the pads either....using it on a steelseries mat. (they're awesome as well)

It should work, not sure, I would check the corsair site and see if other similar products are mac compatible
