I bought this for a gaming board with four slots. It merely mounts over the whole area, is about 2.5 inches wide, and pushes a lot of air. Fan very silent, absolutely zero sound. I would not think two would do any better than one, this will push a lot of air over the whole ram area. Of course if you are not using your pc really hard the ram won't get hot. If you are gaming and using mobo ram it will get hot, in my case i am using it for massive big data analysis for medicaid, so my 8 cores are maxed out with 100% cpu use for 10-12 minutes at a time where it is managing 8-10gb of data in the ram.

Would this work with the DDR4 vengeance ram?  I see its listed for the DDR3, but not the DDR4, so that makes me think they haven't updated it, or it doesn't fit.

can the legs be adjusted (slide to the left or right before I tighten down the screws on the legs)?  I have a big cpu cooler and was wondering if I can offset it a little

Yes they can be slide left or right before being screwed and tighten down. I had issues with the way I have my corsair h80i mounted in my case, the tubes conflict with ram cooler and won't sit over the ram appropriately .. This was not  good for me so I had plans on changing the cooler anyways so this just confirmed it for me

yes it is... but you can avoid this if you use the 3 pin to 4 pin adapted that is included. You simply hook it up to your motherboard's 4 pin (if you have one available) and you can the turn down the speed in your bios & make it quiet.

This is a very good product!

If I am OC my RAM to 2400RPM then do I need this?

No I don't think this is  not necessary , I had this in my case for looks only. If you have little to no air flow in case this couldn't hurt. Fans are a bit louder then I expected. Also can conflict with liquid cooler depending what side the hoses are on

Do you have to screw it down or does it just "clip on" to the RAM base? If you have to secure it down, do the screws go straight down to the MB or side to side to the RAM base?

It clips to the MBs RAM clips, however you have to screw the clips to the fan assembly as it has different clips to match different configurations of MBs. Works great and was super easy to install.

While I don't have the exact motherboard you are asking about, it is laid out similar to mine. This cooler doesn't mount to the board in any way, it clamps onto your ram chips. I have the corsair vengeance ram chips and I think in the way it hold onto the ram it should work with other brands also. It is pretty tall so just make sure you don't have anything hanging over the ram, it does a great job at concentrating air across the ram and keeping them cool.

No as not all RAM is the same height with different designs and heat syncs it will not fit every type. I had the Corsair Vengeance series RAM which is much higher than others and would not work with the fan, whereas AMD RAM in another build was actually shorter and fan works fine with that. So unless it is a low profile RAM I would not suggest it.
