Question 1

Do these attach to the Corsair h100i unit? So you can control these with Corsair link. Basically, can i plug these into the unit along with the stock H100i fans, for a push pull config, and control them at the same RPm through link software WITHOUT having to plug these in to my fan controller on my case? I want to use my physical fan controller for all my other fans, I want the four that are attached to my h100i to run in sync, at roughly the same RPms. Will these work by plugging in to the h100i?

Yes they will. But use them for the pull fans. They are not meant for static pressure used. They have no issue connecting to the rad for the h100i. Be aware they do not move near the same amount of air as the SP120Ls.  Max is about 1300rpm for these and the SP120Ls can easily hit 2500rpm

Question 2

I have a 2 sided radiator. can i put this one on the pull side, but keep my SP fan on the push side?

Don't get me wrong these are great fans but they are not the best for push/pull. I bought these just for that purpose and found that a lot of air bleeds off from the edges due to the minimalist design. If it were more boxy all around, the push pressure or pull vacuum would force the air where it needs to go. I got around this by just using clear shipping tape...

Great fans, great led coloring but needs some work on the housing.

How do you plug this in without any ports that are available on the motherboard? All I have left is my PSU.

Are these fans bright? Would one fan light up the bottom half of my case nicely?

Although these fans are bright and hardly make any noise at all, I don't believe 1 of these will be adequate to light the entire lower half of your chassis. Unless you're putting it into a mini atx build, in which case it might be enough. Overall I really like these fans and currently have 6 of the white model in my build.

Question 5

I need an intake fan for the side window panel of my case, which means I need the support/pillar things to be against the window, where the fan won't scrape against the window.
Is this a viable choice for an intake fan?

This fan should work fine against the window. The holes for the screw have a bump that should give a little clearance from the window. I would only not recommend this fan if you plan to attach a radiator as its design for air flow and not static pressure

I was wondering if I can use these fans with the MSI Z270 Gaming M7 which has a 4-pin connector I believe, and if I can what will the limitations of this be in terms of fan control?

I believe these fans are 3 pin and not 4pin.  Which you can still use on any mobo.  That 4th pin is for a manuel fan speed controller.  (Usually the controller would be attached to the fan).  You can still plug a 3 pin fan into a 4 pin connector on your mobo.  However that doesnt mean that you can control fan speeds via bios and/or software.  Also please also be aware that CPU fan plug and FAN1 on your mobo is usually always on max speed which usually cant be changed in bios so dont be alarmed if that one sounds loud.  FAN1 is usually meant to be used as an exhaust fan and people but lower max speed fans for it, or use a controller.

Is this a 3 pin fan?

Yes, it is a 3-Pin Fan. It will work with PWM Fan ports - the 4th pin will not be utilized. The PWM fan connectors are for advanced fan speed control usually.

Which are quieter, The standard AF120 or the AF120 LEDS. ?

The LEDS don't make a difference, I have had both. I prefer the LEDS IMO just because they look nicer

Has anyone put this fan in a Corsair Carbide Spec case?  Does the red match the red of the fans that come in the case?

How do I tell which side of the fan is the intake and exhaust?  I looked but I cannot find any directional arrows on the fan.

intake is the front, exhause is the back or where the supports and wires are located.
