ML120 PRO LED, 120mm Premium Magnetic Levitation PWM Fan Fan mounting screws
Very Quiet! Worth Every Penny!10/21/2016 7:04:31 AM
Pros: I purchased 9 of these fans... 6 for the EVGA DG87 case (replaced stock fans), and 2 for the Corsair H115i to replace the stock fans on the radiator, and a spare. The first time the case was powered with all of the fans, it was so quiet, I wasn't sure that it was even on! Under normal conditions, the wind noise is barely noticeable at all. But that's all you are ever going to have with these fans... wind noise. At full speed, the wind noise is no more than you'd expect with 8 fans @ ~2k rpm. The magnetic levitation of these fans eliminates mechanical or bearing noise completely, and the rubber dampers certainly help. But more importantly, they keep my rig hardware cool.
Finally, to some, cost seems to be an issue with these fans. I consider this a small investment to keep my components cool. If you've spent a small fortune building a rad gaming rig, then these fans are the way to go. I needed a quiet work environment and I have it. I needed a cool case when overclocking, and I have it. And since I generally wear over ear headset when the fans are cranked, the wind noise is of no consequence.
Cons: Cost. This is the only con I reluctantly have. However, I'd have spent more to get the quiet performance that these fans offer.
Overall Review: I highly recommend these fans. Corsair has created a top tier product.
Correction Of My Initial Review9/11/2016 1:24:43 PM
Pros: When I first installed the fans they were making an ungodly amount of noise and were most irritating. It took awhile but, on recommendation from a magazine tech writer, I looked in the UEFI and discovered the fans were constantly spinning in the 1600 rpm range. I changed the settings to "standard" and the fan speed immediately dropped into the 600 rpm range. The tower is now so quiet that I can't even hear it and so far the fan speed has not ramped up due to heat and temperatures are in an acceptable range. I suspect that there may be situations where the fan speed will need to increase and I imagine that it will result in some noise but I haven't encountered that yet and am computing in blissful silence from my tower sitting a couple feet away on my desktop. My apologies to Corsair for my initial review which I have now deleted.

Super Silent and Looks Pretty Cool7/23/2018 11:06:23 AM
Pros: - Rubber edges makes installation easy and helps keep things silent
- The white led has just the right amount of power, doesn't turn your case into a disco ball or doesn't keep it dark either
- Levitation and PWM are always welcome
- Keeps everything cool, great air flow
Cons: - The fact that I can't use them to cool myself down during the hot summer
How can a fan be loud if it's floating on a magnetic field?2/19/2018 9:56:12 AM
Pros: - With magnetic levitation, these fans literally cannot create any friction with a motor, so they are TRULY quiet
- I came from the stock fans on Corsair's own H115i, and those fans, even at 1000rpm, would start to make a high pitched rattling sound, which really annoyed me
- When I got these fans, the noise I had before was completely gone
- These fans can get loud at 1200 rpm+, but it's not a high pitched loud noise--- it's a low drone of loudness, kind of like when you're on a plane. So really, it's not the loud that is expected from a fan, it's just the drone of the air passing through
- Great fin width, so I use these for static pressure for the 280mm radiator, and I actually noticed about a 5-degree drop at load on my 6700K at 4.5 GHz
- The entire fan is surprisingly heavy, which is evident of great build quality
- The rubber dampening pads on the corners also scream great build quality, but they are not going to reduce more noise because the fans inherently make little noise
Cons: - Expensive, but seriously the best fans out there
- Cable is not braided, and a little short, not a big deal but I've seen other fans (EK Vardar) that cost less and come with a braided cable
Overall Review: Extremely quiet, great static pressure for radiators and the blackout color stays neutral and looks great in my build
Very quiet, no bearing or electrical noise9/26/2019 1:29:04 PM
Pros: Inaudible below 1000RPM
No bearing noise
High static pressure
Highest CFM among other ML models
5 year warranty
Cons: Expensive
Audible air movement at 2000+ RPM, but it's expected
Finishing on the inner parts of the blades could be better
Stickers aren't perfectly centered, so at low RPMs they look wobbling
Grey rubber pads stand out, would prefer those to be black to match the frame color
Overall Review: I got these fans for my radiators, very happy with their performance, they push air through high density radiator with no issues. Absolutely no bearing or electrical noise, the only thing I hear at high RPM is air movement, but that's expected. The fans are expensive, but with ML bearings and friction-less operation I expect these to last.
Pros: I can't hear these fans at all. They move a nice amount of air.
Cons: Zero.
Overall Review: I got a pair of these to replace the stock SP120 fans Corsair includes with the Hydro H105. This setup is cooling a Core i7 8700K. Aesthetically, they're a beautiful touch to the build they went in, and they move air just as well (if not better) as the stock fans that came with the radiator. I'm not overclocking, so my only real concern was dead silent operation with satisfactory airflow. These fans are providing exactly that.
Pros: I had TT Ring 140s on my 420mm rad and while they were inaudible at 100% speed you couldn't feel air moving through the radiator. you can feel the air at 40% or so with these they do get loud in push/pull over about 75% tho
Cons: EXPENSIVE
Overall Review: would recommend if your using on a rad. by far the best ive ever seen for thick rads
