Can the LED lights be turned off?

The lights are directly related to the amount of power the fan is getting. To turn the lights off you must turn the fan off. That being said these are actually a nice light that isn't either overpowering or understated, so I didn't mind leaving them on permanently. This will vary between users preference of course.

Are these fabs gokd fkr all positions? I am thinking getting a few sets and putting a pair on my cpu water cooler and a pair in the front. I'm trying to keep sound levels down while having good air circulation when it counts.
