Question 1

i noticed that there are two connectors coming out of the fan in these images, so i'm just wondering, how do you install these? do i need a Corsair Commander Pro or anything like that? (i'm sorry if this is a question with an obvious answer i'm new to PC building)

You will need a corsair fan hub to control the LEDs which plugs into the lighting node/commander pro for LED control. I believe you can find it on their website if not on here. The other connector is wherever you plug your fans in (could be commander pro, could be motherboard)

Question 2

I can't figure out how they did this. I see that there is (if not mistaken) a dual-fan radiator in their animation/video. I cannot find any Corsair radiator with fans like these. So 2 questions: Did they just install these RGB fans into one of the radiators? If so, does this mean you can replace Corsair OEM radiator fans with other Corsair fans like these RGB ones? I'd appreciate any insight. Thanks.

I just purchased two of these and a Corsair H110i Water cooling system. The radiator fans are interchangeable if you get the correct size. The RGB Fans were too small for mine but I ended up using them as extra case fans. Also, if you want the RGB aspects to work correctly, you'll need to purchase an additional LED Hub in order to control the colors. Also, my H110i was too big for my Corsair Crystal Case and I could only use one of the two radiator fans. It seems my Motherboard had a cooling unit on it that stuck up a bit too much.

Are these AUROS compatible?

No, you have to use Corsair’s Link software. But I run link side by side with aura in my rig with no issues. If you want to run them on the same system as your mobo, go with an MSI board. The next version of link will work with MSI

Does this item include thermal paste?

No. This is a case fan only. There is no thermal paste or heatsink to use on a CPU.

Will these work on a radiator? I see the photos but (and maybe this is an old idea?), for use with a radiator isn't static pressure proffered?

Although static pressure is preferable, you can still (like I do) use them to great efficiency on a radiator and still see great numbers. I have no negative pressure areas in my case and I run 10 of them.

Can these fans work with the existing hub/controller that comes with the Corsair Crystal 570x Case?

Are the screws the long ones to screw into the radiator? I only got 1 set on my h50.

If i just plug these in without a controller, what color will they be?

I'm looking to fill all of the fan slots in my corsair 570x case with these and then control the lighting as advertised, but as much as I look, I don't fully understand what I need to make it work.  my case already has the sp rgb fan LED controller and the rgb led fan hub that came with it. What kind of additional hardware would I need?

The SP RGB fan LED Controller will not work for these fans as they are instead controlled through corsair link exclusively, so you will need to get either the Lighting Node Pro that comes with the either the fan 3 pack or with an led strip bundle, or the Commander Pro sold separately. The RGB led fan hub is also required, though the fan 3 Pack also comes with one as well. One other requirement is that your motherboard must have an available USB 2.0 header and two available sata power connectors for the RGB controller and hub. The fans are still powered though the regular 4 pin PWM fan connector so if you do not have enough PWM fan ports on your motherboard you may want to look into either splitters or a hub, keep in mind the Commander Pro has a 6 fan PWM hub built in along with the RGB controller.
