If i purchase this combo will i still need the commander pro?

You would need the pro if you have no available fan ports on your motherboard, check to see if you have available ports and depending the type of case you have and fans you want to add to your build than yes the Commander Pro is a smart choice to add extra fans and also extra usb ports and led functionality along with temperature control, so it all depends on your build and case.

Question 2

Can you use the Corsair RGB LED Lighting PRO Expansion kit (CL-8930002, newegg item #N82E16811978009) with the controller that comes with this (are there additional connections) or would you need additional controllers?

So this kit comes with a fan hub and an LED Node, it allows you to use any compatible LED accessory made by corsair. So, the expansion kit should have no issues running off the controllers that come with these. However, you more than likely will need to get the Commander Pro in order to use the expansion if you don't have a free USB 2.0 header. (The commander pro has 2 USB 2.0 headers on it.)

Question 3

Do I need 2 lighting Node PRO interfaces to run 6 fans, or can one interface handle all 6?

I bought a Commander Pro which runs all 6 fans.  Lighting node pro are rgb strips to enhance your fans and look and they go through the commander pro as well. Question 4

Can the fans be flipped / reversed? I would prefer the front light rings to face the interior of my case since the front is closed.

As already explained, yes they can be flipped.  For what it is worth, I have 6 of these fans mounted into a 570x case with a 360 rad on the front and a 240 on top.  I had serious internal case heat issues...until I flipped the 3 fans on the front.  I have all 6 fans blowing out of my case, and all 6 fans are visible from the inside of the case, not the outside.  It was not look I desired when planning the initial build, I wanted the fans on the front to be visible from the outside.  Still the negative pressure concept is working very well for me, and my heat problems have been resolved.  So yes, you can orientate the fans any way you want, but you cannot change the actual direction of the air flow through the fan itself.

Are these designed to use infront of a radiator like the SP140 LEDs?

That's how I've installed them but it really depends on how you want the air to flow. With the LED side facing you, the air moves to the back. If it is in front of your radiator, it will push the air through the radiator (as opposed to pulling air through the radiator.)

Do I need to use the node or if it's just hooked up to my motherboard will I be able to control the color straight from ICUE?

The node must be used in order for iCue to detect the fans.

Does this come with everything needed to power and light the fans or is there another part I need?

It only comes with the light controller.  It depends on your motherboard/mainboard with a header to control and power the fans.  Corsair does sell a controller that will do both called the Corsair Commander Pro.

Will these work with Corsair Hydro Series, H150i PRO RGB, 360mm Radiator?

In theory , no. These are airflow Fans. Ideally for a radiator you want static pressure fans. But I have them on my 150 pro
 No issues with CPU temps .  But I suggest contacting Corsair 
For their thoughts.

Is the usb cable included to connect the lighting node pro to the motherboard?

Yes, it is a USB 2.0 internal connector that connects to an empty header on your mobo

can you mix 120 and 140 fans in the same lighting node?

Yes, in fact I do in my setup.  Just be sure you connect them in order 1-6 and don't skip any ports.
