Question 1

I have about 5 fans I want to control the lighting with and also the fan speeds,   I assume I need both lighting node pro and the commander?  I'm also using the LL series fans, will these work?

If you purchased your fans in a multi pack you'll be good to go with just the commander, if not you are in fact going to want to pick up one of those LNP's. Fan speed header into commander pro, and all of the RGB headers into the LNP. Then the LNP into the commander as well. The commander acts as essentially a fan controller, with addditional USB 2 headers and 2 RGB channels on it.

Can i use Corsair ICue with this?

These can be used as just a case fan no problem. But if you want full rgb goodness you must use corsair icue

if I buy the kit with 2 fans with the control how many fans can I add to that or do I have to buy another kit as well to use more then 2 fans?

Each lightning node pro can connect up to six rgb fans.  I bought additional 120 and 140 mm fans without kit and installed perfectly.  Fans must be connected to node sequentially e.g. 1, 2, 3 in order to work not 1, 4, 6.  Node specifies port number.

Will the fans be workable with Gigabyte's RGB Fusion?

I don’t think so. They are two different models. Which require certain components to be compatible. You’d just be wasting your money.

Question 5

I'm confused - can you control the RGB lights on a Corsair ML140 PRO fan with the Lighting Node PRO hub, or do you need both the Lighting Node PRO and the Commander PRO hubs?  (or just the Commander Pro)?  Why did they make these proprietary gadgets?  I just have two Corsair ML140 PRO RGB fans, but they were bought separately as single fans, so I don't have either of those hub controllers and can't use the lights.

you only need one of them. this two pack comes with the lighting node pro. you also have to install the corsair software to control the colors.
