Can the rgb be seen as both intake and exhaust?

The RGB is definitely better on the intake side but you can see the RGB from the exhaust side as well, and it does cast a good amount of light from that side as well. You can see part of the ring and the fan hub from the exhaust side from most angles. I'm happy with the way they look and plan on buying more. I would include a photo if I could.

Do I need the RGB hub and Node for a single fan? Can I not just plug it into the corresponding headers on my motherboard?
