It comes with it's own module, but I'd assume it would still work with commander pro!

with this iCUE Lighting Node CORE can lighting strips also be plugged into this, or do you need separate controller?

Separate controller, The CORE only supports RGB specific to fans or those of similar connector.

i want to swap the fans from CORSAIR Hydro Series, H115i RGB PLATINUM will these work or no ?

wow, I actually did this EXACT swap earlier today. it indeed worked just fine. the QLs look so much better. I used the 2 LLs on the front of my pc case to replace some non rgb 140s.
